yesterday i read in angelotrofa's blog,that maybe the future of football kit design will be something like cycling jerseys,i find it a nice concept,so, i began experimenting with some designs.Here,the first one :

history of the gamma logo
well, i began by using a spiral,as a universal symbol ( according the galaxy shape and fibonacci sequence ), but then i figured that a more athletic alike shape would be better,so i went for a triangle as the greek letter γ which is the letter g in greek is the third letter of greek alphabet and a triangle represents the number ''3''.Then i noticed that the logo seemed too aggresive and didnt fit well with my curve alike designs so i found a more delicate ,roundish shape of a triangle.But it was resembling me the adidas logo so finally i choosed a G design that was going together with what i like as designing,curves. Below,all the logos from the newest to the oldest.

what is gamma designs ?
well,i am a fan of football and an amateur painter.Combine these two and kitmaking comes easily,designing of football kits always was fascinating me so,when i found out that there are competitions in that aspect,being a lover of football manager game and searching for kit templates,i started participating ! I created a fantasy brand,gamma design which comes out from the first letter of my name, G (in greek alphabetit is gamma-γάμμα as i am greek ), but as a word also means variety (gamma=variety) in order to put my designs,my imagination and not using the usual brands'designs.I admitt i like umbro and kappa designs a lot but i try to create something new ..
i am participating in the KotW competition on fmbase site,publishing my work on designfootball and footballshirtculture . So, enjoy the kits,love to see corrections and feedback !
